Camello Vanloo is a highly experienced educator and accomplished athlete.  Driven by hardship, he stands by his passion of serving underprivileged minorities and special needs children.  As a credentialed School Counselor and Special Needs Educator, his life’s work is centered around catering to the socio-emotional welfare of today's youth.  No stranger to adversity, Camello is a proud survivor of childhood sexual abuse and tragically lost his father at the young age of ten. Despite those obstacles, Vanloo has flourished and prospered.  He thrives on self-improvement and capitalizes on his influence as a male of color to encourage students to strive academically, physically and mentally.

Vanloo has extensive cheerleading and 12+ years of coaching experience, molding youth at the secondary and collegiate levels.  His teams have made city championship appearances in cheer and most recently in the new exciting NCAA emerging sport, STUNT.  While completing his bachelor's degree in Childhood Education at the College of Staten Island, Camello founded and student-coached the Dolphins Cheerleading team. His Cheer & STUNT team at the College of Staten Island has been proudly featured in two SAG-AFTRA motion pictures and one documentary.

In addition to his calling as an educator and philanthropist, Camello is a successful entrepreneur. Inspired by his tenure at the prestigious National Cheerleaders Association and Elite Cheerleading Inc., Vanloo has traveled to over 20 states, instructing camps of 1000 + kids.  His eye for technique and innovation has led his faithful clients to top finishes, including several New York C.Y.O. State champion titles and a 6th place finish at the renown National High School Cheerleading Championship.

Vanloo’s proudest achievement is attributed to fundraising with the Pride Cheerleading Association, whose focus is to uplift and support the L.G.B.T.Q. community.  During his time with the P.C.A., he assisted in donating $20,000 to Immigration Equality. Camello has also made impressive international appearances, opening and competing at the 2018 Gay Games X in Paris, France. Furthermore, Vanloo performed front and center in the 2019 World Pride Parade, the largest pride celebration in history to date, alongside 200+ charitable cheerleaders from across the country down Manhattan’s famous 5th Avenue.  Most recently, Camello received his masters degree with honors from Alfred University and is currently wrapping up additional post-graduate coursework with a focus in Advanced Counseling Techniques. Excellence runs through his veins and he aspires to one day become the third doctor in his family!

Camello’s undeniable impact on today’s youth has been inspired by his eventful childhood. Cheer 4 a Cause, USA Spirit & The Charitable Spirit Association are a strong culmination of his values, work ethic & commitment to leave our world a better place than we found it.
